Addressed flood control homelessness and safety issues:
·Outreach Team conducts proactive outreach three times daily to ensure visibility and community engagement
·Steel fencing has been installed to reduce unauthorized access and deter illegal activity
·Ongoing presence of Buena Park Homeless Outreach, Police, Public Works, and the Hope Center is contributing to improved conditions and reduced complaints
Advocated and approved to replace an aging flagpole, an air conditioning unit that had reached the end of its life, and carpeting that been in place since Fire Station 63 first opened over 30 years ago!
Addressed speeding concerns in residential areas with traffic calming measures!
